rankbid.lol ↗ · launched 21 Aug 2026 · 7 days so far

A pay-to-rank board from Canada, registered on 21 August 2026: the bid decides the position, listing links are stripped of tracking parameters, and next to the one-off bids there is a $150-a-month sponsor product with three active subscriptions. TrustMRR shows $9,013 all-time on the connected Stripe account, but the account is older than the site; the part earned since the domain existed is $2,498. The header counter ("$0 made") only fills in with JavaScript. A sister site, rankbid.tattoo, auctions spots on a purely digital 3D face and had sold none on 28 August 2026.

The facts A rank on a list

A public list where your position is what you paid. Whoever pays more pushes you down.

How the mechanism works, and why it works here 7 of 7 blocks · the schema

Every project is taken apart with the same seven questions, each borrowed from a standard analysis tool, so you can compare this one with any other on the board. The funnel numbers come from the daily snapshots, not from the creator.

What is exchanged

Value Proposition Canvas

A rank on a board, and for three companies a $150-a-month sponsor slot. Buyers get a position and a clean link.

2

How the price forms

Pricing mechanism analysis

Bids decide the rank; the sponsor slot is a fixed monthly price. $250 of recurring revenue on a board full of one-off bids.

3

Supply and scarcity

Scarcity and inventory analysis

Unlimited rows; the sponsor slots are the scarce part.

4

Growth loop

Viral loop analysis

X. The counter on the page only fills in with JavaScript, so it does not travel as a screenshot.

5

Defensibility

Moat and clone analysis

None in the mechanic; the subscription product is the one thing most clones do not have.

6

What can kill it

Failure mode analysis

An older Stripe account inflates the headline figure; the attributable revenue is $2,498, not $9,013.

7

Why it works here

Editorial verdict

A clone that added a subscription. The recurring $250 is small but it is the only recurring money in this group.
