outvibed.com ↗ · launched 27 Aug 2026 · 1 days so far

Mads Sastakauskas in Denmark holds the domain outvibed.com (registered November 2025) and launched a leaderboard on it on 27 August 2026 with one twist: Dynadot appraised the domain at $19,827, he added a zero, and every dollar spent on the leaderboard is subtracted from the asking price, $198,099 on launch day. Whoever wants the domain pays what is left. Listings from $1 with a link. $176 verified through Stripe, $175 of it on the first day. The site sits behind a Vercel security checkpoint that answers automated requests with 429, so the counter is read by hand.

The facts Exclusive rights

A right that only one buyer can hold at a time: a person’s name, the naming of something for a day, a whole life on eBay.

How the mechanism works, and why it works here 7 of 7 blocks · the schema

Every project is taken apart with the same seven questions, each borrowed from a standard analysis tool, so you can compare this one with any other on the board. The funnel numbers come from the daily snapshots, not from the creator.

What is exchanged

Value Proposition Canvas

A listing with a link, and a share in lowering the price of a domain someone will eventually buy.

2

How the price forms

Pricing mechanism analysis

Listings from $1; the domain’s asking price ($198,099) falls by every dollar spent.

3

Supply and scarcity

Scarcity and inventory analysis

Unlimited listings, one domain.

4

Growth loop

Viral loop analysis

$175 on the first day; the site is behind a bot checkpoint, so its counter does not spread on its own.

5

Defensibility

Moat and clone analysis

The idea is easy to copy, but it needs a domain someone might actually want.

6

What can kill it

Failure mode analysis

At $175 a day the asking price takes three years to reach zero; interest will not last that long.

7

Why it works here

Editorial verdict

A leaderboard that dissolves into a domain sale. Clever, and at the current pace the punchline arrives in 2029.
